Main Purpose of Job: Deliver a 5-star customer service, lead the staff working in the shop at Silverdale Holiday Park, drive profits and maintain high levels of cleanliness.

Responsible to: General Manager / Food and Beverage Manager

Hours: 40 hours

Location: Silverdale Holiday Park, LA5

Rate: Competitive with benefits included

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver a 5-star customer service
  • Lead the team by setting an exceptional example and deliver staff training and development
  • Wage and staffing controls
  • Promotions and marketing to drive sales
  • Serving customers in a timely manor
  • Manage staff on shifts to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently
  • Stock control, ordering and rotation, sourcing new suppliers and stock
  • Baking from frozen fresh bread and pastries
  • Knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene guidelines
  • Resolve any complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner

Key Requirements

  • Knowledge of stock control and EPOS till systems
  • Previous retail management experience – preferably in groceries
  • Personal alcohol license
  • Food hygiene level 2 (minimum)
  • Positive, lead from the front attitude
  • Customer first mentality
  • Highly flexible towards working hours to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications

GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths and English
