Beetham holiday and caravan park provides the ideal base to explore the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape. Just 10 minutes from junction 35 of the M6 Motorway, Beetham is within easy access to the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland the coast and other parts of Cumbria, Lancashire and North Yorkshire.

The tranquillity and relaxing atmosphere of the park are what owners and visitors most enjoy. The Beetham caravan park is open for 12 months of the year. Beetham Holiday Homes provides a haven to ‘get away from it all’, and the base to enjoy local walking, golf, wildlife watching, fishing, cycling or arts and crafts.

The park has been carefully developed to conserve the natural features of the landscape and local wildlife, earning several environmental awards. Each holiday home is landscaped to maximise the views and also to provide privacy and seclusion to maximise outdoor spaces to make the most of your home away from home.

A wide diversity of plants and animals in the area can be spotted. We have fallow deer on the park, rare native birds, including Hawfinches and Jacksnips. Discover beautiful flowers and trees, such as orchids, spindle and guelder rose. You can be sure to spot the fantastic mammals such as otters, hares and red deer while on park.

On Park Facilities

  • During your stay you will see our Park Wardens working hard to maintain the cleanliness and 5* standard across our park. In an emergency, our Park Wardens are available 24/7 and happy to help.
  • We have an onsite playground and field for children, which is well away for customers’ holiday homes.
  • We welcome dogs and have beautiful local walks on the site itself.
  • Park wide wifi connection.
  • We have top of the range washing and drying facilities in the reception area.

Nearby Facilities

Spend the day at our flagship Silverdale Holiday Park.

Just a 15 minute drive away you will find our sensational heated swimming pool complex at Silverdale, featuring two indoor swimming pools complete with a spa pool you can use whilst enjoying views of the park and across to Morecambe Bay. Slip into our Jacuzzi, sauna or steam room for extra relaxation. Our pool complex is light, bright and lifeguards are always on duty to ensure everyone’s safety.

Dog Friendly

There’s a variety of dog walking routes accessible from the Beetham holiday park, where your dog can stretch their legs, as well as a designated dog walking path through woodland on the border of the park! Just a short drive from the park you can also explore Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve and RSPB Leighton Moss.

There’s nothing better than sharing a holiday with your four-legged friend and we want you to create holiday memories with your fury friend too. We certainly don’t want to spoil the fun but ask that for the safety and enjoyment of other guests on park there are a few rules dog owners follow such as: keeping dogs on a lead around the main areas of the park and picking up after your dog.

For Children

Beetham caravan park is one of our quieter holiday parks but still provides plenty for children to enjoy in the surrounding areas. Our small outdoor playground is the perfect place for the kids to let off some steam, whilst the miles of countryside and nearby leisure facilities at Silverdale Holiday Park will be sure to tire the younger ones out if you wish to visit. There’s also plenty of open space around the park to explore and learn about out natural surroundings, habitats and wildlife!

Discover the area & things to do at Beetham

There is so much on the door step of Beetham it would take a lifetime to fully explore. The Park and its customers organise walks, cycle rides, pub visits and art and craft events.

The largest reed bed in north-west England, and home to some really special birds such as breeding bitterns, water rail, bearded tits and marsh harriers. 

Classic pubs, local delis, restaurants and even an organic farm – the local area has plenty on offer!

Wildlife Oasis

A unique and exciting blend of exotic wildlife and interactive hands-on displays, which take you through 3,000 million years of evolution.

cinderbarrow

A fantastic little railway running round the picnic site at Cinderbarrow. There is a family friendly picnic site surrounded by woodland, with lots of open space.

The Trail aims to encourage creativity within the community, promote and showcase the work of amateurs and professionals within the AONB and, to bring a wide range of arts and crafts within everyone’s experience.
