Exit the M6 at Junction 35 and take the A601 for Carnforth. In 1 mile turn left at roundabout (35A) for Carnforth (Truckhaven on left, Pine Lake on right).
In 1 mile turn right at traffic lights in centre of Carnforth, signposted Silverdale. In 1 mile turn sharp left into Sands Lane, signposted Silverdale.
In 2.4 miles go over an automatic level crossing, continue for 0.3 miles to ‘T’ Junction.
Turn right following ‘Holgates’ signpost.
In 1 mile bear left following ‘Holgates’ and ‘Silverdale’ signposts (by bus shelter / phone box).
In 0.5 mile turn right into Cove Road following ‘Holgates’ signpost.
In 0.7 mile turn right into Holgates.

Driving from the South
Come off the M6 at Junction 35 and follow the A6 towards Kendal and the South Lakes. The road gently meanders for around three miles past open pasture catching glimpses of the distant Lakeland fells. Just after the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis, take a left turn towards Silverdale and follow the road for approximately 1/2 mile. Take a right turn up a short hill and the entrance to Silver Ridge is on your left.
Driving from the North & East
Come to Junction 36 of the M6 and, again, follow signs for Kendal and the South Lakes. At the Brettargh Holt roundabout, take the A590 towards Barrow, before peeling off to the left and following the A6 South through Levens, Milnthorpe and Beetham. At Hale, take the right turn just across from the Kings Arms public house and follow this road as it bears left. After half a mile you will find the entrance to Silver Ridge.

Exit the M6 at junction 31 and take the A59 for Clitheroe.
Continue on the A59 for 19.5 miles, reaching Gisburn village.
Turn right onto the A682 (Burnley Road) across from the White Bull public house.
Continue on the A682 for 1.3 miles, turning right at the sign for ‘Holgates Ribble Valley’.
Follow the lane down from the sign, reaching the park entrance in 0.5 miles.
