Our restaurant & bar opening hours vary throughout the year, adapting to the seasons and school holidays. You’ll find we’re open more frequently during school breaks, the summer months, and weekends. Please view our calendar here to check the opening times for your visit.

The Bark Inn (Dog Friendly!)
The Bark Inn is our specially designed dog-friendly area of the bar and restaurant – a separate space from the main dining area yet still connected, with convenient direct access to our outdoor patio. It’s the perfect spot to savour a delicious meal or refreshing drink with your four-legged companion, whatever the weather brings! We’ve also installed a TV showing music or sports to enhance your experience.
We kindly ask that our visiting pooches remain well-behaved and supervised throughout their stay with us.
The Bark Inn follows the same opening times as our main restaurant. Please check our calendar here before planning your visit.

Games Rooms
Beyond showing Sky Sports every weekend on our screens, we offer a pool table surrounded by comfortable sofas (with a large TV nearby, ensuring you never miss a moment of sporting action!). Plus, we’ve created two dedicated games rooms to keep our younger guests thoroughly entertained.
Whether you’re seeking a quiet corner for an intimate conversation, a cosy spot by our warming fire, relaxation on our comfortable sofas, space for a larger gathering, or a place to unwind with your four-legged friend in The Bark Inn – we truly have created a space for everyone to feel at home.
In addition, we’ve installed a lift for easy accessibility to the lower level for prams and wheelchairs, along with convenient access to the main part of our building.
How To Find Us
We’re nestled in the beautiful village of Bolton le Sands, approximately 5-10 minutes from Junction 34 & 35 on the M6. When traveling along the A6, look for the turn-off by Detron Gate which is clearly signposted. Turn left when approaching from Lancaster and right when coming from Carnforth.

Walking from the shore?
Did you know you can reach us on foot from the shore? We’re just half a mile from the garden centre. When facing the shore, turn right and follow the wide, flat pathway until you reach our welcoming entrance. (This entrance brings you in right next to our bar/restaurant – perfect timing! ) Our pathway is suitable for bikes, prams, and mobility vehicles.
