Local walks and nature reservesÂ
There are so many walks on the doorstep of Hollins Farm we couldn’t possibly name them all! Listed below in our winter events guide are a few local ones we think you will love, and their distance from Hollins Farm.
Grubbins Wood – 0.9 miles
Easily bypassed on a foreshore walk, this tucked away woodland is a haven of flowers, ferns and birds and has probably been present since medieval times.
Brown Robin – 2.8 miles
A typical limestone woodland walk with magnificent display of spring flowers interspersed with species of rich grassland.
Warton Crag – 3.5 miles
Viewable from Hollins Farm, Warton Crag is dominated by limestone cliffs and decorated with wildflowers. You might even stumble across the highland cattle that roam free! Why not treat yourself to a well deserved pint at The Old School Brewery, situated at the bottom of the crag.

Lancaster on Ice and Christmas Markets (24th Nov – 7th Jan)
Find fun for the whole family at this annual event that comes to Lancaster town centre November to January and takes over Dalton Square. Enjoy the neighbouring food and craft stands or pop into the festive tee-pee to warm up with a glass of mulled wine! Why not toast some marshmallows on the indoor fire pit? 
Soul Bowl – Bowling Alley
Soul Bowl is a vibrant venue in Morecambe offering ten lanes of bowling, pool and table football as well as great music, and delicious food or drink deals.
