What was your reason for becoming a Holgates holiday homeowner?
We chose to purchase a holiday home at Holgates because we knew of the very high standards that the family and staff maintain.

Owning a holiday home at Holgates has enhanced the overall quality of our lives by allowing us to spend time together, both just the two of us and as a family in a relaxing, safe and peaceful environment.

The main benefits of holiday home ownership have been the ability to just get away whenever and for however long we decide.
Can you describe the sense of community at Holgates Silverdale Park?
The sense of community runs through the whole of Holgates Silverdale Park, from fellow owners to each and every member of the staff. You are always greeted with a smile and people take the time to speak with each other, which is a rare thing these days.
What is it about the area and natural surroundings that is appealing to you?
What appeals about the area and natural surroundings? The best way that we can answer this is a phrase we use all the time “it’s an hour away but a world away” As soon as you arrive in the area you get a sense of calmness and relaxation.
What are your favourite attractions or things to do in the area?
Our favourite attractions and things to do in the area are, exploring the lake district, watching the beautiful sunsets and just simply relaxing.
How often do you holiday at Holgates? Do you invite family and friends?
We visit our holiday home on average 3 times a month, sometimes just for the day, other times for 2/3 days or even weeks at a time. The beauty of having it is that flexibility, not just for us as the owners but for our family.
Would you recommend holiday home ownership at Holgates?
We would definitely recommend holiday home ownership at Holgates. As the saying goes “you get what you pay for” that is so true of Holgates. Not only do we as owners make a financial commitment, so do they. The park is always pristine and constantly being improved upon, even when you think it couldn’t get any better!

All of our Holgates parks are within easy reach of the M6, as our lovely owners noted, our parks are the perfect place for peace and relaxation, making an hour away feel ‘ a world away’.
