Carnforth Market Town
Situated above Morecambe, the picturesque market town of Carnforth is a great place to shop and relax, whether you need to grab a few bits from the supermarket or enjoy a stroll around the boutique shops. Carnforth Station Heritage Centre
Carnforth has a rich railway heritage and is home to an award-winning heritage centre at its working steam railway station, exploring the Victorian era and Home Front. Carnforth and the station are also famous as the filming location for the classic 1945 British film ‘Brief Encounter’ and have the only exhibition in the country celebrating the life and works of director David Lean.
Warton Crag Local Nature Reserve

Please note, holiday park facilities may vary depending on which Carnforth location you choose. However, Holgate’s holiday home owners can also visit as a paying guest and access the facilities, such as the swimming pool and gym at Silverdale Holiday Park.
At Holgates, owners cannot rent out their caravan in Carnforth when not using it. However, our holiday home owners can invite friends and family to stay, just let our team know, and we will welcome your guests to the park.
Our Carnforth static caravans at Bay View, Marsh House and Netherbeck are available for recreational use all year round. However, our static caravans are not licensed for living throughout the year and are only available for holiday purposes.
