Our Leisure Club at Silverdale Holiday Park is now open to the general public during select times. Please read more below for full details and Covid-19 rules including the current adult-to-child swimming ratio.

Can I stay on holiday?
We are open for holiday bookings to take place across our holiday parks and cottages.

All holiday bookings are protected under our Holgates Booking Promise.

Track & Trace

From 19th July, providing details for track and trace will no longer be mandatory, however we are supporting the scheme and will still have our NHS QR codes available to check-in. 

Where do I find the QR code?
Our QR codes are available to view and download via the list below, a copy will also be available in your arrival pack.

Ordering Food & Drink

Indoor Dining

Our restaurant is open for indoor dining. Normal service will resume with orders placed at our counter, we have also increased the number of tables in our restaurant whilst continuing to use safety screens.

During busy periods, you may experience a wait for a table and/or a time limit on occupying your table after dining.

Outdoor Table Service

Our Bar & Restaurant is now open for outdoor table service. Normal service will resume with orders placed at our counter.

Our food ordering app will no longer be used for outdoor table service.

Takeaway

Our Bar & Restaurant is now open for takeaway orders. Orders will now be placed via our new ordering app, which we hope will make the process much easier.

Simply visit the app, select ‘collection’ and place your order. Please note that only a selection of our dishes are offered for takeaway.

Holiday Guests

Our Holgates Booking Promise aims to give you the peace of mind whilst booking your holiday with us, giving you additional flexibility and cancellation options as we all adapt to changes during the Covid-19 pandemic. Book your next holiday with confidence knowing our Holgates Booking Promise is in place.

If you are unable to make your booking in 2021, due to Covid-19*, we can transfer your holiday^ to an alternative date in 2021/2022. This flexibility will give you the best possible chance at finding a new date for your holiday.

Can’t make your holiday but don’t want to commit to alternative dates? We also have the option to keep monies paid in credit, to use at a later date.

We have adopted the below safety and cleaning measures in our accommodation:

  Removing risk – additional soft furnishings such as cushions, blankets and rugs have been removed from our accommodation. This is to reduce surfaces where bacteria can reside.

  Reducing contact – To keep our guests and housekeeping team safe, we kindly ask that you strip bedding prior to checking out of your accommodation. Further instruction will be provided when you arrive at your accommodation.

  Ready to enjoy – All of our accommodation is fully cleaned before you arrive, so you can get straight to enjoying your holiday.

We are seeing an increased number of new holiday bookings for late Summer and Autumn at this time, so be sure to secure your dates as soon as possible and be courteous of our team who are working as hard as ever.

Alongside our self-contained accommodation, holiday bookings for our Standard Camping Pods and Tent Pitches will also take place.

Our self-contained accommodation includes: Holiday Homes, Holiday Lodges, Luxury Pods, Family Fun PodHoliday Cottages.

Facility Blocks
Our facility blocks are open to holiday guests. If you are staying with us in a touring caravan or motorhome, we kindly ask you use your on-board shower facilities where possible.

Due to the additional cleaning measures we are taking, you will only be able to arrive on or after your check-in time. There may be delays whilst our housekeeping team finish cleaning accommodation. Please see your confirmation email from us for details on your check-in time.

When checking in for your holiday, our reception team will greet you as normal. If you have any questions regarding our safety measures, they will be more than happy to help.

The same will apply when checking out, on your day of departure please ensure you check-out with our team on time.

Feeling Unwell

If you are displaying symptoms of Covid-19 prior to your visit, please follow government advice and book a test for Covid-19.

Please do not arrive to our parks or locations if you are experiencing symptoms or have tested positive for Covid-19.

Our team will be happy to help if you need to cancel  a holiday booked with us, protected under our ‘Holgates Booking Promise’.

If you are displaying symptoms of Covid-19 during your visit, please notify a member of the team by telephone immediately.

If you feel well enough, please follow government advice and return home immediately.

Our Facilities

We are currently offering limited service from our reception desks, please try and avoid visiting our reception desks in person other than for the below reasons:

  Checking in.

  Checking out.

  To speak to a member of the team in an emergency.


If you do visit our reception desks, please be mindful of the below safety measures:

  Hand sanitisers have been placed at all access points into our park buildings, please use these before entering.

  Social distancing and queue systems may be in place during your visit to our reception desks.

General Public Access

Our Leisure Club and Gym are now open to the general public during the below times:

  • Monday – Thursday (9.30am – 9pm)
  • Friday (9.30am – 12noon)
  • Sunday (3pm – 9pm)

Owner & Holiday Guest Access

Our Leisure Club and Gym are now open daily between 9.30am and 9pm to:

  • Holiday Home & Lodge Owners at our Holiday Parks
  • Holiday guests at our Holiday Parks and Cottages

Member Access

Our Leisure Club and Gym are now open to members daily between 9.30am and 9pm.

Swimming Pool Admissions Policy
Guests are limited to a 40-minute honesty swim, during busy periods, to ensure everyone has fair access to the facilities.

  • All users of the leisure club must be swim ready on entry to the leisure facility.
  • All pool users must gain entry to the pool facilities to the rear of the building once details are provided for track and trace, you will be allocated a cubicle to change in, clothes MUST be put in a locker (50p required). All users of the swimming pool are to use the showers on poolside prior to entering the pool.
  • All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible person of 16 years or above at all times whilst using the leisure facility. The responsible person must go into the water with the child/children they are accompanying remain with them at all times. No play equipment, including balls, inflatables, woggles, noodles etc. are permitted in the pool. The pool has implemented a no diving, no jumping policy at this time.
  • Buoyancy aids accepted under this policy are those that fully support the child’s weight in the water & remain secure in and out of the water. E.G. Arm bands, float suits and inflatable baby seats. Buoyancy aids that are hand held are NOT considered appropriate.

Adult to Child Ratios in the Swimming Pool

1 Adult to 2 Children – Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied into the pool at all times by a responsible adult (Over 16 years)

1 Adult to 1 Child – Children under the age of 4 years must be accompanied into the pool by a responsible adult.

1 Adult to 2 Children – However in the event any child under 4 is wearing a suitable buoyancy aid.

Arcades

Our Arcades are now open.

Bowling Alley
Our Bowling Alley is open daily between 10am – 10pm.

  Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult when in our park buildings & leisure complex

Please Note
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (over 18) at all times to ensure that our safety measures and one-way systems are followed.

Indoor Play Area
From 19th July, our indoor play area will re-open. Please note that between 3pm – 4pm every day this facility will close for cleaning and sterilisation.

Outdoor Play Areas
Our outdoor play areas are open. These facilities will be un-manned and we kindly ask that guests using the play areas are mindful of others as restrictions are eased.

It is no longer compulsory to wear masks in all indoor public areas, however they are advised in busy areas whilst indoors.

We have introduced the following measures to ensure the safety of our owners & guests:

  We have strict hygiene routines across our parks in addition to the already thorough cleans we carry out daily

  Safety screens will remain in place in all areas necessary, including our main reception and bar.

  Hand sanitisers will remain in place around our parks for customers to use
