Our new luxury lodge park, the Cove, is located right on the Silverdale coastline with incredible views over Morecambe Bay, in the heart of the Arnside & Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The local area is full of things to see and do, located just a short walk from the centre of Silverdale and about two miles away from Arnside.
There’s plenty to see and do right on your doorstep, but if you do want to venture a little further afield, the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Lancaster and Morecambe are all just a short drive away.
Silverdale itself is a quaint village by the coast with a selection of local shops, as well as our own pub, The Royal, with locally sourced and seasonal produce as well as an assortment of cask ales and fine wines.
A short walk from the village centre is Jenny Brown’s Point, a headland with amazing views across Morecambe Bay, while we’re also not too far from the Leighton Moss Nature Reserve, which is home to wildlife such as otters, bearded tits, marsh harriers, egrets and red deer.
The neighbouring village of Arnside is an old fishing port and is dominated by the sight of Arnside Knott, a 159m hill which offers great views across the area and is a haven for local birds and wildlife.
The village has retained a lot of the charm of its past, especially in its beautiful pier and port, and is also a haven for many species of bird.
A little further afield, the Cove isn’t too far from the amazing Lake District National Park, famous for its landscapes and history, and as the former home of the likes of Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth.
As you can see, there’s plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas here at the Cove, so why not arrange a visit or give us a call on 01524 701508 to speak to one of the team?
