Santa’s Grotto
Father Christmas himself will be making a special appearance at Holgates Silverdale! Children can visit Santa in his grotto on the following dates:
- Saturday 7th December
- Sunday 8th December
- Saturday 14th December
- Sunday 15th December

Carols Around the Christmas Tree
Join us for a heartwarming evening of carol singing on 7.12.24 from 5:30 PM at Holgates Silverdale. We’ll be gathering around the Christmas tree to sing festive favourites, with mulled wine and mince pies available. All proceeds from refreshments will be donated to St John’s Hospice, spreading some Christmas cheer to those in need.
What’s happening at The Royal Silverdale?
In addition to the wonderful Christmas activities at our holiday parks, we’re excited to share a special event happening at our local pub, The Royal Silverdale. Join the festive cheer on Friday 13th December at 6pm for an evening of traditional Christmas carols. This event is perfect for getting into the holiday spirit and enjoying some festive tunes with fellow holiday-makers and locals alike.

Heysham Christmas Market
On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December, The Royal in Heysham village will host a Christmas market from noon to 5pm. With 27 artisan stall holders, this event offers a great opportunity to pick up unique Christmas gifts. Entry is £1 for adults, and there’s plenty of entertainment for all:
- Meet Santa and his elves
- Wreay Syke Alpacas meet, greet & treat (Saturday only)
- Thwaites Shire Horses & Santa on his sleigh (Sunday, weather permitting)
- Morecambe Ukulele players (Saturday)

West End Carol Service
On Sunday 15th December at 4pm, the Parish Church of St Barnabas on Regent Road, Morecambe, will host a traditional carol service. This is a wonderful opportunity to join the local community in celebrating the true spirit of Christmas.
