At Holgates, we know just how important your dog is to you, which is why our parks welcome your four-legged companion. This means that you can spend a few days relaxing in the peaceful nature of Holgates and admire the surrounding beauty while spending some quality time with your pet at one of our dog-friendly holiday parks!
Adding that to the fantastic, five-star, modern facilities our parks offer, such as a children’s play area, a games room, bar and restaurant, café and launderette, and you got yourself the perfect holiday!
Your Pets are Welcome at our Dog-Friendly Holiday Parks!
Our luxurious caravan holiday homes are the perfect accommodation for your holiday, as we offer many amenities that provide all the comforts of home and more! From kitchen goods and television to a patio with picnic bench, we want to give you the holiday of your dreams.
And, if you know that your holiday won’t be complete without your faithful pet, we have great news for you! We welcome your dog at our Silver Ridge, Bay View and Silverdale parks, at an extra charge of £35 per booking; this means only one pet per caravan. These specific hire vans are ideal for both your family and your pet, so you can take everyone on holiday at the same time!
Just inform reception at the time of booking that you wish to bring a dog with you, since we have a limited number of units that accept pets.

However, dogs are allowed on all of our parks, which means they can stay by your side while you delight in the natural beauty of your surroundings! You can take him or her for a walk in the many exercise areas around Silverdale park, for instance, although they are not allowed in any of our eating establishments or inside buildings. You can find Holgates Walking Maps in reception that will show you amazing walks around the Silverdale are for just 25p!
With new sights and smells to discover, your dog is likely to get excited and want to go explore everything! We don’t discourage this but ask that you keep him or her on a lead at all times. We also ask that you pick up after your pets.
If you own your own holiday home or bring your own tourer, your well-behaved dog is also more than welcome to stay with you as well!
