The Holgates Beer Festival and Ceilidh Weekend offer a combination of live music, family-friendly activities, and traditional entertainment, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape.
Holgates Beer Festival
Kick off your summer celebrations with the Holgates Beer Festival, held at our Silverdale holiday park on the 28th and 29th of June. This free-entry event promises a delightful selection of beers, live music, and fun for the whole family.
The festivities begin on the evening of June 28th, offering the perfect opportunity to unwind after a long week and raise a toast to the summer ahead. The celebration continues on June 29th from 1pm, giving you ample time to sample the wide array of beers on offer and soak up the lively atmosphere.
Entertainment for Everyone
As you explore the festival, you’ll be treated to the sounds of live music while children will be delighted by the bouncy castle, providing hours of entertainment while you sit back, relax, and enjoy a refreshing pint.
On Friday night we have a DJ, so don’t forget your dancing shoes, followed by 4 live entertainment acts on the Saturday from 1pm ‘til 10pm!

Ceilidh Weekend
The merriment continues on Saturday, July 6th, as Holgates Silverdale hosts a spectacular Ceilidh Weekend. This event is a true celebration of traditional music, dance, and family-friendly entertainment.
The fun begins at 12pm, with a BBQ serving up delicious treats until 3pm. While you enjoy your meal, the little ones can bounce to their heart’s content on the bouncy castle, open from 12pm to 4pm. For a unique perspective of the stunning surroundings, hop on a tractor ride, available from 12pm to 4pm.
Face Painting and Children’s Disco
Face painting adds an extra touch of magic to the day, with talented artists transforming children into their favourite characters from 1pm to 4pm. As the afternoon progresses, the youngsters can showcase their moves at the children’s disco from 3pm to 4pm.
The Ceilidh Dance
The highlight of the Ceilidh Weekend is undoubtedly the traditional barn dance, which kicks off at 6pm. This ticketed event offers an evening of lively music and spirited dancing that will warm your heart.
Tickets are priced at £20 for adults and £10 for children, with proceeds going to support the incredible work of St John’s Hospice. A hot meal is included in the ticket price, ensuring you’ll have the energy to dance the night away.
What’s more, there will be a raffle held at the Ceilidh in the evening with an assortment of fantastic prizes up for grabs! Tickets are on sale throughout the day.
