Managing your own time, using your initiative to its full potential and being proactive is vital to make this role work.
More flexible than a yoga instructor! You must to be prepared to drop everything, go and fix a leek, then back to check guests in, customer may have problems with their heating that you can help with before returning to your original job. Helping other parks, joining another department to cover sickness or running an errand for someone, the skills and flexibility of a Park Ranger know no bounds!
You will have an awesome eye for detail, spotting things guests would never notice, but that will contribute to the high standards of the park.
This role requires energy in abundance, it is physically demanding and you’re on your feet all day. Who needs a gym membership? (If you have any energy left, you do actually get free gym membership, with use of our 2 pools, how’s that for a perk?)
Team work makes the dream work. Aim for the same goal, work together and understand it is our differences that make us excel. You will understand your own and your team mates’ strengths and use them to make the park the best it can be
A full clean driving licence is a pre-requisite and towing experience is preferable.
It goes without saying that you should be presentable, punctual and willing to learn.

No formal qualifications required, but a trade and/or previous experience in facilities management, cleaning or grounds keeping would be advantageous.
